A Fish, A Long Board, Performance shortboard or a Hot Twin. Whatever you can imagine, S-Lab will help you create that Dream Board our S-Lab dream is to empower and support you to make that dream a reality. This creative and unique experience has been developed as a hands-on full-on experience where you can shape and build your own board under the tutelage of an experienced shaper.

You will design your shape, utilising our 3D Software, add your design ideas, colour, fins and have your hands held to create your dream board what an experience Then get out there and use it, or take and hang on the wall as your own art S-Lab is offering this unique shaper experience tour to design and make your dream custom board.

World Surfing legends Rabbit Bartholomew, Beau Young, Rachel Tilley, and Andrew McKinnon have lent their professional support to be involved in this new and exciting technical tour. This brand-new initiative creates a homemade based locally produced surfboard. Anyone with a vision and a dream can now participate and experience the art of constructing their very own first made custom surfboard.

CONCEPT

Concept stage is the perfect time to bring out your creative genius! what ever your greatest surfboard desires this is the moment your journey comes begins.

DESIGN

Yourself and our guru shapers utilise the 3d surfboard software to bring your concept to life.

CREATE

Machine operators walk and talk you through the journey your board will take from block of foam and how its made, to cnc machining your masterpiece.

SHAPE

Now you have your cut foam in hand, it's time to step into the shaping bay under the guidance of one of our guru shapers to meticulously work on your design and teach you the ins and outs of using shaping tools along with educating you on board courtours, refinements and board anatomy.

You will be ripping before you know it!

After your journey is completed, on the day the resin finish will still need to be applied, so we keep hold of your craft and take them to our trusted laminator. Your personally crafted surfboard will be sent to your door within 4-6 weeks.
